Just a short blog post today but an exciting one.
I was browsing through my local WHSmiths yesterday and trying to decide which craft magazine(s) to buy (a regular activity that I always find ridiculously hard) when one magazine made me stop in my tracks… Simply Homemade magazine.
There on the front cover was Dr Octavius, one of the patterns from by crochet book, Amigurumi Animals. Now, I did know that the pattern would feature in the magazine, but I wasn’t sure of the exact date and I certainly didn’t know that he would be featured on the cover. Super-cool!
I have spent a lot of time over the last few months contacting magazines and trying to build up awareness of the book online and offline. So it is really good to see that some of this hard work has paid off finally!
So, if you haven’t yet seen the book why not take a look at Simply Homemade magazine (Issue 58) at pages 86 and 87 where they reproduce in full the Dr Octavius pattern. Then if you like what you see then the book is available online at www.amazon.co.uk
Enjoy your crochet and thank you for reading!
